Stripe planning is easier when the color sequence is visible before you start. A row-by-row list also helps estimate how much of each color you will use and whether a repeat lands cleanly at the end of a scarf, blanket, sleeve, or cowl.
This generator supports three simple modes. Even repeat cycles through colors in order. Seeded random creates a repeatable random-looking sequence from the same seed. Gradient blocks move from the first color to the last across the full row count.
Worked example: with 24 rows and 4 colors in even mode, each color appears 6 times. In seeded random mode, the same seed will always recreate the same stripe pattern, which makes it easier to return to a design later.
